Another year passes us by and we have once again closed the restaurant after New Years for a two week holiday. This time gives us an opportunity to visit with family and friends and do some much needed revamping at the restaurant. This year, Ian and I decided to do an East Coast Canadian adventure. Our yearly Canadian trips allow us to visit the most popular hot spots are fine country has to offer. During the week of January 7th – 14th we will be visiting Halifax, Digby Nova Scotia, Saint John New Brunswick, and P.E.I. We decided to partake in an East Coast Mussel Challenge where vowed to eat mussels EVERYDAY. Our promise to you, all of our valued guests was to bring back with us our favourite mussel recipe, re-create it at the restaurant and give out complimentary P.E.I. mussels for our re-opening celebration on Tuesday January 17th, 18th, and 19th 2012!
